Harris wasn't anointed. There was literally no other option considering the timing of Biden's departure from the 2024 race. She worked her butt of and made the end result a lot closer than it would have been otherwise. Any vitriol you have towards the players in the 2024 race should be directed towards Biden and of course Trump.[/quote]

Knowing how she performed in the 2020 primaries, Harris could have called for an open primary - but she didn't. She could have run a far better campaign by doing interviews - but she didn't.  She thought she could buy voter support through paid appearances, instead of truly campaigning - but she didn't.  She could have offered a compelling vision for the country and distanced herself from Biden - but she didn't.[/quote]
