So does nobody work Fridays anymore?

Well, we all lost our jobs, so we can run errands when the SAHMs run errands.

I’m a SAHM and I noticed this, too.

OP here and I stated noticing this well before the layoffs.

So they decided to go shopping?

I mean it’s Target and the grocery store. Not exactly Neiman Marcus

I work fridays and often take an hour or so off in the middle of the day for errands. I end up working until around 7pm and for a couple hours on the weekend so my employer gets plenty of my time.

Sounds like a ringing endorsement for RTO.

Anonymous wrote:I SAH and try to run all my errands M-Th because lately I have noticed that shopping on Fridays it might as well be Sat or Sun as far as crowds are concerned. Do people just not work Fridays any more? My husband certainly does, and works a full day at that. Yes I know next week is off school for many, but I notice this often on Fridays, not just today.

I’m so tired of the SAHM and retirees seeming to think they are entitled to a boutique shopping experience

There's something really grating about it, I think it's the wishing everyone else greater crowds and inconvenience bit

Two promotions and consistent Above Strong ratings in the past 5 years, but thanks for your concern!

I enjoy my in-office days, but some of us don’t require babysitting all day every day.

Please shut up. Must be nice sitting on your backside all day.

Your husband is probably seeing his mistress Fridays.

Not exactly like OP, who said that she SAH. So she’s not pretending to WFH on Fridays, drawing a paycheck, while actually at the grocery store and Target to beat the weekend crowds.

Honestly, I can't imagine how sad life is that running errands occupies this much space in your mind.

Many people have flexible schedules, they can work early and be down by 2pm and with no commute they can be racing OP for a shopping cart.
