No. The private school on the same block often does, but not necessarily other schools in the cluster

This is the period when special programs students leave for Edison etc...?? Do they leave school in a lockdown or stay put?

Bomb threat last May was a swatting attempt during AP exams. You can't prevent everything, PP, and metal detectors won't detect ghost guns that are entirely made of plastic out of 3D printers... but they will detect all conventional weapons. Most guns that have been found on kids in this area have been conventional weapons.

my kid, with a bunch of other kids, ran out of the school as soon as they heard about the lockdown.
