Is Paris worth it?

We went to Paris (and London) this past March and the weather was fine. No rain, and I didn't need a heavy coat-- just a trench coat or a corduroy blazer, with a thin wool scarf when it was chillier.

Yes absolutely. I've been there 3 x and would visit again if I'm in Europe and have the time. Agree with easy train ride from Amsterdam.

eurostar is an excellent suggestion (~3.5 hours)....CDG and ORY are pure chaos

Never fly into CDG if at all possible. That should be one of the golden rules in life lol

NP- It is AWFUL, but for some reason France isn't eager to increase traffic from the US to other airports. It's too bad.

Paris is great! Totally worth it.

I absolutely think Paris is worth it it just to relax and wander. Walk around, even in the drizzle, duck in and out of places. Eat. All the types of food. The best food I had in Paris the last couple trips was Lebanese.

Sure the art is incredible but it really is just a fun city to take your time technically doing nothing.

Though definitely take the train there.

I don’t know people who hated it. I think Paris is one of those cities that has something for everyone. I guess if someone hates big cities in general, maybe they would hate it, but that’s not specific to Paris.

All of this. Paris is actually one of my favorite places to visit solo.

Funny, was in San Diego recently and even though it's teeming with legit Mexican places, best food I had was Lebanese!
