Neither would explain the last second, seemingly knee jerk decision to suddenly cancel. |
Thank you. |
Too soon. Don't be a jerk. |
Go ask Reddit. They always know the answer to these. I'm serious. |
You expect someone to know an unpublished reason for cancellation to a flight without a departure time or destination airport? |
Probably not enough passengers to make it worth their while.
Plus, flights to FL are like every 2 hrs. Easy to just cancel and combine on the next flight especially on mid-week flight. |
There have been something like five plane crashes since Trump became president. Be grateful it was canceled. |
They don’t cancel flights for knee jerk decisions. Let me guess, you also yelled at the gate agent in hopes they’d uncancel the flight? |
Of course it would, because before they take off they’re doing a lot of check lists and tests and that’s when you find mechanical problems. |
I’d guess a mechanical issue. I had a flight cancelled 45 minutes after we took off. They made us come back. |
Girl didn't even give us the flight number. |
This is STUPID. They cannot cancel flights due to lack of interest because they need the plane to arrive where it is scheduled to arrive, passengers or not. Otherwise, it causes scheduling conniptions that can reverberate through the entire airline. |
Airlines don't cancel flights for that reason. There are many considerations, and cancelling just because an individual flight isn't selling well is a very dumb thing to do. What about the return flight passengers and their connections? What about the crew? What about cargo.? Fixing those issues almost always more expensive than operating the flight. And most flights to Florida in February, even if unnamed, are booked pretty full |
Yes. Those avation watchers can figure anything out. It’s American from DCA this morning. Not terribly hard to find. |
DCA to Destin at 8am? |
