How do you know it’s neighbors and how do you know all the cars are legally parked?

Do you think it’s ok to smear dog shit on a car if it’s not legally parked?
Or to walk out of your house and yell at a teen and threaten them?

Reports are that all cars were parked legally at all times. I know nothing more than what is reported but it certainly sounds like neighbors and even if there was a parking irregularity it’s not ok to smear shit on someone’s car, is it?

No it’s not ok.
But just because someone said it doesn’t make it true.
I have a hard time believing a person smeared dog shit on a car in broad daylight that was legally parked. No it’s not ok if it’s illegally parked but I don’t live near a HS where entitled kids park however they like day after day instead of getting a school parking pass

Sadly it’s definitely true, and has happened to several students.

Not defending the vandalism, but the Woodmoor neighborhood has put up with poor behavior by Blair students for years. Maybe the neighborhood needs to get residential parking for their streets, which they can easily do through MoCo. And maybe the principal should go over to talk with the neighborhood assn. to help cool the temperature.

Renay Johnson previously spent a lot of time trying to molify the neighbors because of student behavior.

People are allowed to park on the street whether they are students or not. They should get dash cam videos to catch the neighbors.

What gives? Does anyone live in the neighborhood? Is there a Facebook page or list serv where residents have discussed this? It’s obnoxious and cruel.

Hm. I’m not sure what behavior you are referring to but parking a car legally on a public street isn’t legitimately a nuisance to anyone. If availability of parking is an issue for residents there are processes they can go through without harassment.

Do you live in Woodmoor? Would be interested to hear what exactly they are upset about.

I live in Woodmoor, I haven’t heard anything about students’ cars being vandalized. A while ago there were complaints about students smoking weed in public places, but I haven’t heard anything lately.

The parking lot is covered with portables. There are likely very few spots for students available. I think students street parking is just part of living near a HS. Residents can request 2 hour parking limits but then their own guests are limited.

No. There are portables at Blair but they do not take any student parking spaces. (i think a few portables do take spaces in the teacher lot.) I think the school has communicated to the students that they should not park in the neighborhood. However if the cars are not illegally parked then perhaps the neighbors should just try and get the parking restrictions changed. It is outrageous for them to behave this way and illegal also. File a police report.

It sounds like an idiot mom to a dishonest kid who doesn’t know where to park and she’s gonna post here like a fluffy ol’ mama bear!! Grrrrrr! She feels powerful!

Because it can’t possibly be true? What planet are you living on? Not just one kid or parent but multiple. Not just one occasion but many. Hopefully police have been informed.

I don't live there and don't have students there, but just wanted to say that all it takes is one crazy neighbor. So put cameras on your kids' cars and see who shows up.

There are portables on both sides but hardly any are in the parking lots.

Well, then if neighbors are harassing students who park legally, county should just imminent domain a few of the homes and level it into more school parking. Hopefully the dog sh-- house.
