3.0 mg. Is that considered high or low?

Why are yiu not discussing this with your doctor and listening to the advice they are giving you (don’t take the next shot). This is not a life or death situation and it seems your health is being negatively impacted.

I’m guessing this isn’t your family Doc, but one of those cute little weight loss drug online service places.

It's not Kaiser, my PCP, but not online, either. I would never order random drugs online. It's a medical wellness physician in MoCo that I have gone to for years. Kaiser gives useless weight loss advice. I would actually like to meet a person who has lost weight using Kaiser's advice.

My next injection is scheduled for Tuesday. Depending on how I feel, I will extend the injection by a few days.

Each dose should become less effective the longer you’re on it.

The typical starting dose is 2.5.

I'm about the same size as you, OP (5'4 and 120 pounds). If I felt like I had to lose 4 pounds, I would cut my calories from 2000+ to 1600 or so for a short period of time, not inject myself with drugs and stop eating entirely.

+1

Really, OP?

What does mean for a drug people say you are supposed to be on forever?

The only downside is food boredom and an extreme lack of appetite. I told my doctor about the lack, and she instructed me not to take the weekly injection again until I felt hungry. I am worried that I can go so long without eating, and then when I do, it's only a few bites. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, did you stretch days between injections?

That's not meant to be the downside. As the PP said, it's the point.

She needs food to survive. A few bites a meal? She won’t get enough nutrients.

It hasn’t even been 10 days, she will figure it out. If she was fat enough to get this med, she isn’t going to starve to death any time soon.

Perhaps, but I wasn’t overweight. I am one of those who used it lose a few pounds. Ten days out, and I am 134 lbs (5’6). I like the wonder drug but the wonder drug’s power scares me a bit. My next appointment is 2.27. I will be at my goal 4 lbs from now. I am trying devise a plan to not go under without screwing up the 30-day cleanse challenge.

I could literally go all day without eating.

Why TF were you taking Zepbound for a few pounds? Do you have an eating disorder?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they do have an eating disorder. F'd up of the doctor to prescribe it. But PP is likely one of the people around here who advocates lying about weight to one of the online weight loss clinics to get the script...

It means you go to maintenance dosing after you reach a weight that you and your physician are happy with.

You went on tirzepatide to lose 5 pounds while simultaneously on a 30 day cleanse challenge? Not sure if I don't believe you or if I feel deeply sad for you for how disordered you are.

So a local quack prescribing compounded Tirzepatide?

I had no appetite for probably the first 6 mo that I was on Zepbound. Use it as an opportunity to teach yourself to eat healthy. I knew I would only eat a few bites, so those bites better count. For me that meant plain grilled chicken and some vegetables. Over the course of the day, I might eat 6oz of chicken and a zucchini or 1/2 acorn squash. Since I wasn't really hungry, I just stayed away from the junk which I knew would fill me up. Make sure to keep drinking plenty of water.

OP isn’t on zepbound. No legit doctor would prescribe it for her. She’s on an off-label compounded generic prescribed by an unethical person who has the ability to wrote prescriptions.

Apparently this is the new fad for people with eating disorders. I wonder which “doctor” is prescribing this drug to OP.

Wrong. Ro is an online pharmacy which prescribes Zep via LillyDirect.
