I have the headache too - still - on dose day. Why?

It’s a miracle!!! I lost 37 lbs in 5 months. I worked out like crazy and gained muscle. Ate super low calorie to my deficit and high protein.
You may never have to move up in dose!! Don’t listen to their schedule. I did it via the compounding medication tirzepatide available through a local doctor and I moved up from 2.5 to 3 and 3.5. I did each one after eight weeks or so and lost around 1.5 pounds a week. You do not have to move up to five and 7.5 and all those things unless you really want to. It’s most effective if you stay at a low dose. I had almost no side effects, but I was always really careful: I consumed daily psyllium pills and fiber Gummies, I used these amazing electrolytes that I loved called Ultima, supplemented with protein powder if I needed to, and I rested well and took care of myself. Although I love drinking, The compound naturally took away my interest in it, and that also helped me lose weight. Now I can enjoy a glass or two a week or less if I feel like it. Just listen to your body and don’t despair no matter what happens. Go to the Reddit group that people recommended above like tirzepatide compound and others and ask questions!!! Support from real life users is key!!! Once you reach goal weight you taper down slightly and find your maintenance dose. Good luck!

I had a very low headache the first few doses too but it went away!!!! Never came back. Also had constipation once and diarrhea once. Big deal!!! Nothing is as bad as being fat!!!! Thank you God for tirzepatide!!!! Miracle. I’m the commenter above that exercises a ton and eats right and clearly had hormonal issues. I needed these meds!!! I’ve actually gained muscle.

It took about a month to have the medication in hand. Once I got through the insurance checks, I couldn't find a local pharmacy that had it in stock. I ended up filling it through Lilly and selected Amazon pharmacy as the dispensing pharmacy. My co-pay was going to be around $250 but using a Lilly coupon, it came down to $80 per month. Good luck, OP. I'm excited and ready to commit to a new lifestyle to get the most benefit from the med.

The max discount per month on the Lilly discount with insurance is $150.

Yes, you are correct. Just looked back at my order for the specifics. I'm the poster quoted above. Insurance co-pay (Express Scripts) was $235, got the $150 discount and paid $85.

Thanks from OP! This has just happened to me. My local CVS will not be able to get the medication in for more than a month.

I have asked my doctor to send it straight to the manufacturer and it seems like they will then send it through Amazon pharmacy? I did sign up for the savings card.

I have never worked with an online pharmacy or a manufacturer. Does Would Lilly contact my provider or me that the RX is ready? Do I have to get something from the manufacturer and then contact Amazon pharmacy? Have clearly never used online pharma before!

It seems your situation is a little different because it’s going indirect to Amazon via Lilly direct, but I use Amazon pharmacy for Zepbound and it works just like anything else. I tell the doctor I want the prescription sent there, he clicks the buttons on his end, and it’s done. I see it populate in my Amazon pharmacy account literally instantly as we are talking.

They run it through insurance (I have added my insurance and the Lilly discount card to my account) and it gets shipped. It’s the same thing as your local CVS but it’s shipped. It is, for all intents and purposes, exactly the same as Caremark mail (owned by CVS) or Express Scripts.

Congratulations. There's nothing like it.

1. Lots of fiber
2. Lots of protein

If you accomplish 1 and 2, along with lots of water, you won't be hungry until day 5 or 6 after your shot. It's a miracle. No other way to state it.

I crave non-starchy fruit. I still am no banana fan, but strawberries are really appetizing.

Sometimes I have no interest in eating the next day. I find that makes me feel worse. Drink a protein shake if you need to. Get some calories in you and hydrate and you will feel better. Also, we know alcohol is not good for you, but you may be one of the people that gets a reminder from your body after starting this med. I never drink the first two days of the shot and I never have more than 2 glasses. I swear my face looks younger.

I've been on it for six weeks. I feel like a million bucks. I am getting compliments left and right about how beautiful I look. My skin is better, my clothes fit better, my spirits are higher. I'm eating so well, exercising more than ever and with so much more enthusiasm and energy. Never hungry. Whoever invented this drug is a genius. How a teeny tiny little shot once a week completely transforms a life is miraculous.

How much did you pay the local doctor for the compound tirzepitide?

I've read a bit about GI issues to anticipate. Any tips on what to expect for side effects for those who have taken it? And more importantly have you been pleased with results?

Have you actually received your medicine? I have a prescription recently prescribed and the pharmacy said they have no clue when they will be in stock. Looking for a new pharmacist but have had no luck. So sad

Supplement with fiber gummies and probiotics. Eat 100 grams of protein daily in small meals every 2-3 hrs. Sleep well and workout daily… and move up slowly!! Don’t move up unless you have had a weight loss stall!! If you’re still losing don’t dose up

If they did this daily, then they would not need to take the drug.

Not true!! Lots of people have insulin resistance and other metabolic issues that cause them not to lose weight even when they are watching what they eat and exercising. A lot of that can be remedied when they shed those extra stubborn pounds due to the medication and get their metabolism working again thanks to being at the right weight and having a better muscle mass due to the working out. Don’t talk about things you don’t know about, your ignorance is showing!!

I bought mine online from a pharmacy called unique physique that sources from a high-quality reputable pharmacy called Hallandale. I filled out my information online and my medication arrived four business days later. I started my journey by having my doctor run blood panels and recommend the medication to me, they sold the compounded version from their office And that got me comfortable not just taking it, but preparing myself to order it online if needed. She still does my bloodwork and monitors my progress!

Zepbound worshiper here, and I agree with you. The magic of Zep is that it eliminates your hunger and cravings so that you can make food choices based on what's good for you rather than based on ravenous hunger or a burning need for sugar/potato chips. And when you're making good food choices, your body and mind feel better. Now your motivation to exercise in increased, you have more energy, you start to be happier with what you see in the mirror.
