CBS settling lawsuit with Trump that they unfairly edited Harris interview to make her look better and more competent

The head of Paramount wants to sell/merge and will need govt approval so this is just a payoff to make sure the transaction goes through and she can collect her billions.

It 100% another bribe, along with the one from Meta and ABC news. Somehow they have to pay up for lying/misrepresenting, yet Trump lies hundreds of times a day.
Then there’s the Bitcoin avenue of bribing him. Just buy some Trump or Melania coin and you will be in his good graces!

They edited her answers on tape. Played one for the tease to watch the show and a different answer in the aired interview. Still not sure which answer was the real one.

As for Trump, in 2020, Lesley Stahl argued with him about Hunter's laptop and claimed it was Russian disinformation.

Hunter's laptop did turn out to be disinformation.

We were told Hunter's laptop contained smoking gun evidence of a vast bribery and corruption scheme funneling tens of millions of dollars to Joe Biden.
The only thing it actually revealed was that Hunter had a drug problem and failed to disclose it on a gun form. Fair would mean that now FOX News should be sued over how it handled Trump interviews, favorably editing them to make Trump look a lot better and more coherent than he actually is, and they could use the suit against CBS as ammunition against Trump and cite the hypocrisy of going after CBS.

Seriously, I do think a team of Democrats with legal resources and access to some donor funds need to band together on this and start out with some big-fish lawsuits that they can get big financial settlements out of, and use that to bootstrap a legal war chest to use for staffing a substantial orchestrated legal campaign of lawsuits against conservative media outlets that spread lies to boost Trump to repeatedly go after them for multimillion dollar settlements and awards, and leave them the choice of either starting to report fairly and honestly and critically about Trump or getting hit every time they lie for him - and also settlement funds and resources to band together with all of the other groups leading lawsuits against Trump, such as the blue states suing for overreach, the civil servant unions and so on.

No matter which side you support, it’s extremely disturbing to me that an apparently reputable media company would claim that something is an interview and then deliberately edit the footage to try to make a candidate appear a certain way (good or bad). People watch interviews because we want the whole truth and to make up our own minds about things, rather than have the media companies influence us with their bias and opinions. The media has fallen to an incredibly low level in this country and we should all be disgusted.
