Well, if you add them to everything, yes, that is weird.

But I grew up having them in salad on Christmas, so I like them and feel happy and fancy when I eat them.

Half chicken and bean enchiladas with corn and onion and pepper, bean. Half veggie enchiladas - mushroom, squash, onion, pepper, corn. With rice, pico, guac, and fixings.

Homemade pizza (we just do toppings each of us likes in quarters or halves), salad (I make jars of dressing as needed, about once a week so salads are easy). Sometimes we do frozen pizza. If so I add a few things like jalapenos or artichokes and a tiny handful of more cheese to cover up the additional toppings. I tend to break one in half and make 1.5 because we have a teen son. The half keeps fine until we do another frozen pizza night or sometimes our kid beats us to it to make it himself for a snack.

Spaghetti, TJs frozen vegan meatballs, marinara, extra mushrooms and onions, salad and bread.

Baked chicken with spices (garlic, paprika, herbs de provence, lemon), egg noodles with butter, peas and/or salad. Maybe bread.

Sandwiches (turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, mayo, whole grain mustard, hot peppers) and soup (leftover chicken orzo for some, Amy's tomato bisque for others) Probably also pickles and olives and chips.

Burgers, fries, salad. We had homemade black bean burgers and kobe sliders in the freezer (we flatten them to fit a regular bun). I made two of each and a morningstar patty. I also made some bacon and sauteed some onions and mushrooms. Some people eat two (son, sometimes husband).

Tonight I made a stirfried tofu with garlic and sweet chili sauce. Over rice with carrots, broccoli, green onions, lots of asian sauces, some green onion pancakes from TJs, and I cut up cucumbers and avocado. Was going to make an apricot preserve/soy sauce chicken, but just spaced and did the tofu.

We eat mostly chicken, too. I often eat vegetarian while others eat meat as their main.
