You name it happens and it is very sad.
People should be educated enough to understand the difference between governments and regular citizens.

There are times in history when the regular citizens need to step up and take control and take responsibility for their governments. Now is one of those times. Russians need to hold Putin to account for all of the damage he has done to his country and his citizens with his bad policies and wasteful war in Ukraine. Russians need to stop complaining and playing the victim, they need to put on their big boy pants and take action and change the situation. Russians stepped up and got Russia out of Afghanistan for far less.

It’s easier said than done.
Most authoritarian regimes like Russia and China will leave you alone to live your life as long as you don’t get involved in politics.
Once they think you are a political threat they you will make you disappear .
Totalitarian governments like North Korea they will make your whole family and extended families disappear.

Massive protests going on in Serbia, Slovakia, Georgia right now. They don’t won’t pro-Putin governments. Why aren’t Russians protesting?

But Russia can't even manage to kick the Ukes out of Kursk. And surely you haven't forgotten about Prigozhin's speed run. Russia's become quite weak.

They should pay more attention. Putin can't even suppress Ukrainians in Kursk. Russians should be more like Ukrainians right now.

The difference is that one enemy of putin is armed, one civilian protester who dislikes putin is not

If you see students protesting in Serbia for three months now, the questions begs asking, what are Russians doing?
The answer about Ukraine is that Russians consider Ukraine their own land and hence majority approves this war.
If you are so unhappy raise up, Russian military is made from Russian people. They refused to fire upon their own people before, they might refuse again.
The issue with "hating" Russians is not simple in the West. We are looking at a century of dislike and promotion of dislike of Russia.
If you want the change, you need to be willing to fight for it. Why aren't Russian people fighting for it?

Exactly.

Exactly plus 1. For sure, small protests can be dispersed in Russia and people arrested. If many protested, story would be different. But, when you look at the scale of protests in Serbia, it makes you wonder.

because putin is a bloodthirsty dictator who wields control over wagner and will not hesitate to use it to gun down however many protesters, even if the the state military rebels.

wagner would probably back putin even in the event if the majority of the population rebels, he might run away to kazachstan or belyorussia

If you are political treat they are effective at eliminating you.
Did you forget how many people got poisoned even in Europe.
Regular citizens just want to live their life and take care of their families not rock the boat.

I hope not but when you look at how Biden used his Presidential pardon he was clearly concerned for some politicians and his family.
