There are times in history when the regular citizens need to step up and take control and take responsibility for their governments.  Now is one of those times.  Russians need to hold Putin to account for all of the damage he has done to his country and his citizens with his bad policies and wasteful war in Ukraine.  Russians need to stop complaining and playing the victim, they need to put on their big boy pants and take action and change the situation.  Russians stepped up and got Russia out of Afghanistan for far less.  [/quote]

It’s easier said than done.
Most authoritarian regimes like Russia and China will leave you alone to live your life as long as you don’t get involved in politics.
Once they think you are a political threat they you will make you disappear .
Totalitarian governments like North Korea they will make your whole family and extended families disappear.
