No, they are not wealthy, just UMC. He does have high academic credentials.

LOL.

Trump doesn't care about high academic credentials. He only cares about $$$$$$$$$$ and how good is his A$$ kissing. He does sound as though he wound excel at the latter.

Does he have a blue check on Twitter?

Maybe he can work in Musk's office in the White House.

DOGE said people will work for free for them @ 80 hours per week.

Family better tell dad to go get a real job. Political appointees usually last 18 months anyway.

OP does your friend have lips that are like a suction cup?

Then that's a no. I would hide the academic credentials and work on his appearance.

If they don’t already know him he doesn’t have a chance unless he is sponsored by a big donor. Political appointments are for people who are already in the club.

The traditional ways to get a political job in an administration, which likely hold for the Trump admin too are:
- Big donor, or a bundler of donations
- Worked in a fairly high level role on the campaign
- Higher level congressional staffer
- Prominent in one of the partisan think tanks
- State/local politician that has made name for themselves
- Member of congress

The new one for Trump is being a character in the Fox cinematic universe.

All of these require leg work well before the actual election. If your DH didn't do that, he's very likely out of luck.

Op here. The whole family is very good looking. The dad looks like he could be president one day.

I am friends with the mom. They are literally on hold for any plans short, medium and long term waiting for the husband to get a job.

Modern day presidents just have to promise to look after their mega donor's interests 24/7 and magically somehow even 80 year old people can get very powerful jobs at The White House.

That would work against him. Why does he need all this education? Trump is getting rid of the department, you know.

If you are truly seeking a genuine response to this question - this board is NOT the place to get one.
All you will get is a bunch of liberals taking the opportunity to make sarcastic, hateful comments as is evidenced by the first page of responses.

So why are you here?

Then he should start his own campaign already. Why begging for a job in the White House?
