It's time for residents to pay attention and hold leadership accountable before the city's trajectory worsens. Transparency and decisive action are essential, as ignoring these warning signs will only deepen the challenges ahead and place an even greater burden on taxpayers.

"We need a casino."

Let's put together a tiger team to identify a site for an NFL stadium. That will fix things.

Bike lanes are what make people move to a city in the first place!

I blame that nimrod Justin and his bowing to the Biker Beta Boys. All that really works well in Alexandria are the trash, recycling, and yard waste collectors and the men who fix the rampant water main breaks. Can't wait for Alex to pass their form of Missing Middle and we are dumping our house on a 16,000 lot for affordable housing or whatever the new chick mayor wants to call it.

Good luck with that the investors are already pulling out of the city projects.

Alexandrians will be very sad that the sexist/misogynist residents are moving out.

Everyone has let the city fall by the wasteland. No one seems to care about the city anymore.

Let the YIMBY’s run the place. It will hit rock bottom sooner.

Oh look. It's the rwnjs coming to replay their racist/sexist crap.

You are a disgusting sexist cretin. Please leave. No one needs or wants you.

Alexandria has always been mismanaged. Years they gave a cop of the year award to a cop that shot and killed a kid in the back seat of a car. It's a cesspool of incompetence.

Pretty sure the only racists here are those that proposed a city wide grant program open only to blacks....

Yes, old town and del ray were nothing prior to bike lanes. Everyone knows the large homes in North Ridge and Seminary Hill are a direct result of bike lanes that they totally don't predate by a century

Funny, my family was just noting how much nice north old town has gotten since we were last there

You are shouting into a black hole. Nothing is going to change. I wish it would.

This is what happens when you elect people who insist on giving important jobs exclusively to DEI hires.
