I’ve found around that age, men who have SAHWs get bored and start wishing they had married a woman who worked. For one, they don’t really have much in common with their wives anymore, and two, they resent that their wife spends “their” money.

Absolute BS, of course. Those same guys would be upset if they were married to me and had to spend all their free time cooking, cleaning, and raising kids.

My exH cheated with a corporate wh...e. He screamed at me "I don't need a cook at home!". Guess what? They broke up shortly after divorce and he's now dating a woman way below my level in career and education: if he ends up marrying her, he'll just get the same he had, maybe a few years younger version of me.

I agree with you that we peak sexually much sooner than women. However unlike women we do not delusionally believe that we are still "attractive or hot" or look like "mid 20s" well into our 40s. Viagra helps us performs a bit longer and weight lifting helps with the stamina. Women though especially on this forum have an incredibly delusional view of themselves as they age.

Just take it as a compliment, and politely deflect. Just because men (or women) are now in their middle-age, does not mean we are corpses. We are all human, and have now fully "matured" in our middle age; men and women are seemingly more attractive, and not sexually dead.

Of course they hit on attractive married women. Most men would never tell a difference between a good looking 45 yo and 38-39 yo woman. I’ve proven it by experience. It’s all social conditioning about dating younger. 30s women are not interested in married dads of several kids. They want own babies with free men. Most cheating happens between married people
