Yes! He's also in Loki (he works at the time place).

"A retired professor gets a new lease on life when a private investigator hires him to go undercover inside a San Francisco retirement home."

Watched the pilot yesterday. Thought it was cute and funny. It was strange to see Stephanie Beatriz as an upbeat character rather than Rosa Diaz. The Waitress is always fun to watch. Excited to watch more and wanted to recommend it.

+1

Seeing her made me look her up on IMDB. I didn’t realize she voiced Mirabel in Encanto!

Very cute, easy watching. Kind of a riff on "Only Murders", but it's very enjoyable.

Loved it! Loved the acting.

Binged it today and it was fabulous!

With a parent in assisted living, I found the series to be quite spot on.

Loved it as well. Danson is such a gem.

If I liked this, what else would I enjoy?

I need some new shows to watch now that things seem to be on hiatus for the holidays.

If you haven’t seen them yet, The Good Place and Brooklyn 99 have very similar humor (and many of the same actors!).

If you haven’t seen already watched and enjoyed those, Mythic Quest has sort of a similar vibe — funny and cynical but also sort of “human.” I know TGP was a Michael Shuur project and can’t remember but think B99 was as well.

If you specifically enjoyed the setting, there’s a Polish show called The Green Glove Gang in which three 60something thieves hide out in a retirement home and get to know the other residents. I’ve also heard good things about a Kdrama called If You Wish Upon Me that’s set in a hospice, but that one I haven’t seen.

Sorry, I added a sentence to the wrong paragraph above. The Good Place and (maybe) Brooklyn 99 were Michael Schuur shows, not Mythic Quest.

Yes, but even less stressful. No violence, the crime is pretty minor.

I loved it. Just what I needed. I like Ted Danson. I also like his wife Mary Steebergen (sp?) in everything. I feel like they would be fun to hang out with.

If you like these two shows, I also recommend the book series Thursday Night Murder - crime solvers are a bunch of elderly friends in a retirement community.

Liking it so far.

I had to watch because my parents are about to move into a retirement community in SF that is just like the one on the show. Hopefully , with fewer thefts.
