Whitman is crazy violent. |
“Coveted” W school? LOL! |
Troll. Moms for Liberty. Really? |
Yes, the video was absolutely necessary to prove that it was an assault. The only way these things stop is if parents make a big stink and do what these parents did. |
It's good for parents who have the social capital to do this. |
They put it out there. Are you sorry this saw the light of day? |
The schools don’t want phones to hide this stuff. |
Doesn’t change the fact that even the “best” schools are violent. |
The principal’s email refers to a fight between “several students” but didn’t identify them all as Whitman students. Has it been confirmed that the kids assaulting the other were actually Whitman students and not kids who came in from outside? |
I mean. The alternative is that security at Whitman is so lax that random non students can walk in and commit crimes. Not sure how that is better. |
Well, the amazing ID badge pilot is supposed to keep kids who don’t go to their high school from getting in. That’s what all the Central Office folks in OSSI are busy saying as they pat themselves on the back. |
This was a targeted premeditated attack of 3 vs 1. They repeatedly stomped on the victim’s head. Multiple videos are circulating. Teachers were hurt separating the attack. Charges of attempted murder are warranted. |
GOOD |
It's happening in every MS and HS in the county. And, because there are no consequences, it wont stop (because consequences leads to higher number of consequences for black and brown students, and we can't have that, so Iinstead, no consequences for anyone). |
The students who jumped the victim are reportedly students at Whitman. They are not from the area originally. They live together in a state-sponsored program for juvenile offenders in the neighborhood. |
