One of them attended RMHS last year. So was probably expelled from there and sent to Whitman.
MCPS needs to stop just moving these violent teens from one school to another. |
I'm not defending MCPS here, but the restrictions on expulsion are a state-level thing. Now I believe their decision to close Mark Twain, where they used to isolate kids with such behavioral problems before, I think is an MCPS decision. But even on that I'm not sure. The sad truth is, there's no such thing as permanent expulsion in public education. |
Ah. So the school board made the decision to close Mark Twain? Not the state? That clarifies that part at least. |
Yes, a huge downside of countywide school systems. One never knows who has been transferred into your school and why. This does not happen in township/borough localized school districts such as those in the burbs of PA, NJ, and CT. |
Nope, police won't do anything, when our child was attacked at school. We ran into this, filed police reports, and never heard back. The police won't pursue juvenile cases because there is no reproducsions and not worth their time, this is the result of left wing rehabilitation multi-chance no jail culture. |
I feel bad for the victim I may have saw it wrong but they didn’t even fight back |
Oh please that video was so lame.
I attended public schools in Greenwich CT. far, far wealthier than the DMv. I saw fights in MS where blood was flying of the faces of each boy as they punched the next one. This is small fry. |
Or he was moved homes and went to the assigned school. |
Not everyone knows how to fight. You are horrible. |
Then you get an attorney and sue MCPS and the parents/guardians/social services. |
. They also closed Noyes. Thank Jwaando. |
Are the students who fought, videotaped, and the victim Back at Whitman now? |
seen |
Bingo. Yes violent children have a right to public education. They do not have the right to be educated in the same classroom as your child. That's just wacko . |
