Just not true. My UMC white kid got in TO.

Very few are test mandatory. It is like a snowball, once it starts rolling down hill it'll get bigger much quicker. Unfortunately with the VAST majority of top schools still TO that snowball is just slowly rolling for now.

Does anyone have any insight? Do you think they will return to test-required as other schools have? I don't have a strong feeling about this one way or the other. I'm just curious.

They have already said they will announce in January. I am hoping for test required. That will be good news for the 1400+ kids.

Source?

Dean J said a committee would be making the decision in January.

Decision in January

If they go back to requiring testing it will be much easier to sue post-SFFA. Hopefully the committee will vote accordingly.

Now that it is almost January…. Do we have any additional details on when this committee meets or when we will know?

TO schools get more apps and love bragging about the low acceptance rate.

Hopefully not because ALL of the TO success testing has demonstrated TO has been a failure for the students, the faculty and the schools. It would be unconscionable for a public university to continue it (Yes, UC Regents are eating it and trying to figure out what to do)

And name one college or university sued by DOJ or States Attorneys Generals over the scotus decision. One.

The 25% will go back below 1350.

1500+ SAT, yes. 1400? won't hurt to submit, but the kids should get that score up for UVA.

Interestingly every other large public VA school including W&M, JMU and Va Tech is remaining test optional.
