How Trump Turned America’s Most Hispanic County Red

Perfect hell no but it's a step in the right direction and something Harris could have built on over time like she said multiple times she wanted to do.
It's like you purposely don't listen to anything the Democrats are saying and then complain that you don't hear them saying it

"something Harris could have built on over time like she said multiple times she wanted to do." One wonders why Harris did not built on it over time during her time as the Vice President.

Basically, yes.

Or anyone that doesn’t agree with them is a racist. Dems just don’t get it. Their ideology has been rejected. Time for them to do a deep think, if that’s even possible, and reflect on how far left the party has drifted.

+1 Not only do they not get it...they flat out deny it and refuse to accept it.

Democrats believe all Latinos are in one voting block (despite being from diverse nations and cultures) and they all have being pro-illegal immigration as their number one issue. The latest election results show how clueless the white progressives who run the Democrat party are. They honestly believed all Latinos would vote for them because they want illegal immigration. They honestly believed white women would vote for them because of abortion. They don’t talk to actual voters and it shows in their out of touch political messaging.

The funny thing is a Latino Democrat who represents one of these districts, Henry Cuellar, tried to talk to the Biden administration since the beginning of the administration and tell them how opposed to illegal immigration his constituents are. He said the Biden administration never listened to him, and they only listened to pro-illegal immigration special interest groups.

And you purposely keep ignoring the fact that Biden completely neglected the border for almost his entire administration - until he realized it was a losing political issue. Then - and only then - did he write his own EO which dramatically cut the numbers at the border. Before writing his EO, he insisted he couldn't do anything at all, his "hands were tied," etc. It was all BS. He could have signed that EO on his first day in office, but instead he chose to reverse all of Trump's border EOs. The catastrophic border will always be his legacy.

I hope you're being facetious, but if not - it's not racist in the least to want a secure border and to be against illegal immigration. Insisting that's "racist" is simply A+ gaslighting.

Or why Biden, being president for the last four years, didn't immediately sign an EO to secure the border.

Exactly. Plus they honestly believed that all GenZs would vote for them too because they are supposedly the most diverse and progressive generation.

I have no idea where you're going with this stupid comment, but if you read the linked article, you would see that the Hispanic Americans interviewed are all gainfully employed, longtime citizens. They have no interest in helping people come to the U.S. illegally. Why do you?

He did the opposite. He signed over 50 executive orders to open up the border. Then, he and Harris tried to gaslight people about the border crisis for over three years. Democrat mayors were complaining and they did nothing. They signed an executive order six months before the election as a ploy for the election. They were losing the election and only signed the executive order to save face and take the border crisis out of the news for the election.

That’s how I will remember Biden. Inflation, the catastrophic border crisis and the inept Afghanistan withdrawal. I think he’s one of the worst Presidents of recent times. I have no idea what these liberal media figures who praise him see. A man who had to withdraw from the presidential race because he was losing in a landslide (supposedly Trump was winning over 400 electoral votes against him) is a bad President who has been rejected by the people.

Yes! I've seen him in many interviews over the past few years trying to explain this but the progressive wing has Democrats in a chokehold. It is maddening to watch.

AOC backed a primary challenger to Cuellar that lost badly, primarily I think because he’s anti-abortion. But the truth that the Progressives are finding out the hard way is that he in fact just represents his constituents. And the question for Democrats is whether they would prefer a pro life, pro immigration control Democrat to represent those people or a Republican that holds those very same views.
