Is that a change? I thought they couldn’t start counting mail in ballots until after the polls close?

I thought they could count them starting on election day, just like an in person ballot, but still can't release the results until the polls close.

Polls have to be closed on West Coast before Exit Polls announced. I don't remember which Presidential election but Exit Polls announced one candidate had won and people in states where polls were still open didn't bother to vote because they thought the election had been called.

This one is incredible. No matter who wins all the people claiming how great the economy is need to recognize this.

"And nearly half (45%) of voters said they are financially worse off now than they were four years ago. That’s a rate of dissatisfaction higher than in any presidential election going back to 2008, when 42% of voters said they were worse off in the wake of that year’s financial crisis. Just one in four voters say they are better off now than they were four years ago."

Umm we couldn’t even get toilet paper at the end of the Trump administration.

Polling is dead. For now. Maybe for decades.

CNN is talking about exit polling but they are only putting up numbers relative to the voter’s reasons for voting, not who they voted for.

While economy is a top issue for me, that is why I'm voting for Democrats. I also would answer that the country is on the wrong track, but once again that is why I would vote for Democrats because I think Republicans are worse for our economy and have us on the wrong track. All of this to say exit polls. Don't really show you what you think they show you

That’s because you weren’t prepared. I never ran out. The economy was so good under Trump that my family was stocked up on everything before the pandemic hit. Don’t blame Trump for your lack of preparedness.

You’re just going through every topic on the forum and looking for people to insult, aren’t you? I recognize your pattern.

Exit polls saying top issue is democracy, followed by the economy then abortion.

Seems to be good news for Harris.

+1

I recently had this conversation with a coworker who carries no cash, lives hand to mouth and eats out for every meal because nothing will ever happen. Stove is pristine and turned on maybe a dozen times in two years. I don't think she can successfully boil water.

What a nightmare if anything kicks off or a natural disaster hits. Some people can't be helped.

You are a prepper. Not everyone has the same mental illness.

I may know this person although this person stores plates and glasses in her oven. Because she has never used it as far as I know.
