The thing about exit polls are they only capture people who vote in person on election day. That's just a subset of all voters.

| There's a lot of anecdotal stuff and fake BS pretending to be exit polls flying around now. I don't think there will be anything resembling real exit polls for at least another hour (5PM) at the soonest, and it will flow a lot faster starting when polls close. |

It is illegal to release any data like that prior to the poll's closing because it could be used to motivate/manipulate voters into showing up |
