Perhaps, and perhaps there isn't an RL-only league formed in MD so couldn't start them in RL. |
| What's worse is they have them in Northeast RL, not even North Atlantic RL |
who? |
No girl card here to play. ECNL has more boys teams than MLS Next and they both expand away. Coppermine doesn't play in the same ECRL as Pipeline so one would expect realignment again and again and again. |
Coppermine. Their boys play ECNL RL in the NE division. |
DC public high school plays in fall so DCSC could join a MD and DE ECRL division also. Will see what ECRL adds next year. |
That's not so bad. They are playing about the same geographies they would in North Atlantic. Just a bit more PA/NJ than North Atlantic I guess. |
The girls side of DCSC is not finding much success in VA RL - It feels like an MD league might be worse? |
| Yep |
Kind of like 1st season for Potomac boys, etc., youngest doing fine at DCSC and Coppermine, will take a few years for older teams to be competitive. 1st year at older ages is tough if your good young players left years ago before when the team was in a lower level league. |
| DCSC should've stuck with good old NCSL. |
That is the understatement of the year. DCSC girls' teams are getting absolutely crushed in VA RL (lots of 10-0 blowouts). They need to combine rosters/age groups with other local/small clubs to actually field a competitive team next time. |
Youngest DCSC boys and girls doing pretty good for 1st year in a new league. |
I was trying to be charitable. It doesn't make any sense on the calendar or on the field. EDP makes much more sense. |
The 2012 girls are in 8th out of 12. No other age group has won a single game. |
