Yes I know. That’s a simple interactive map that anyone can do. But what I’m asking about is CNN’s trademark Magic Wall and John King’s superb analysis based on latest polling data. That has been a major feature of CNN’s on air coverage in past election cycles, but seems to have gone away since AZ, NC, and GA changed from orange to light red. |
| To your point, they are using the EC maps on Fox several times a day. |
What current polls? The 538 average has Nevada even and Trump up 1 in NC and GA. So within the margin of error in all three states. There is no "clear pictures" that Trump is winning any of those. I do think he'll win AZ. And in any case, if Harris wins both WI and MI (where she is up 1 in the 538 average) then Trump not only has to carry all three of NC-GA-NV but he also has to win PA. So either way they both have to win PA. There is no conspiracy here. CNN and other news outlets understand that there is zero value in showing the same map with the same swing states where polls are effectively tied over and over again. Especially when ultimately it's going to to come down to PA alone where the race is a dead heat and because of the mail-in vote and lack of early voting there aren't even much in the way of early numbers to discuss as there are in other states with substantial early vote. If you want to look at a map go look at a map of PA. It would be more useful. |
Other polls are showing Trump much further ahead in NC and GA than you seem to think. NV is closer. And why has CNN made that decision? Nothing has stopped them from endless electoral map game theory in past election cycles! |
The use of the word "very" here is just...stupid. |
Not responding to Helene will give Harris the win in NC, by preventing a large number of rural voters from voting. |
| Who didn’t respond to Helene? |
That's why reporting outlier polls is pointless and most outlets use polling averages. You can also find polls that show Harris way out ahead in MI and WI and leading in PA, and if we just trusted those polls then we should just call the whole thing now, right? Sorry but your conspiracy theories based on a few right-leaning pollsters turning up a +5 for Trump in NC are just that -- theories. The reason networks aren't putting up maps showing Trump winning is that the polls do not show Trump winning and actually the race is tied including in key battleground states. What are you going to do if the results from these races come back and Trump doesn't sweep NV-AZ-NC-GA? Because there's every likelihood that Harris could win one or two of those. Just like Trump could pull out wins in WI and MI. And either candidate could win PA. You just want the news to tell you that the outcome you are hoping for is going to happen and you consider anyone who doesn't "biased" or "hiding something." |

I believe that all of the MAGA party and the trolls are busy trying to feed the narrative that Trump is destined to win so when he loses they can plausibly say it was stolen.
There have been extraordinarily high numbers of MAGA partisan polls trying to tip the avereages. Add to that all the herding of pollsters afraid of a repeat of 2020 and 2024 polling misses. I will believe the results of the election. Everything else is manipulative noise. |
MAGA hates victims of natural disasters who don't pull themselves up by their bootstraps. That's way they hunt down emergency responders, driving crews away with guns |
| There really isn't much to it. There are 7 swing states and PA is the capstone. whoever gets PA likely wins, though Harris has more paths t 270 without it than Trump does. |

Spoutible Chris Boozy online he’s predicted for over 20 years has not been wrong
Twitter has a bunch as well but beware many are Russsian bots Threads has some as well as BlueSky These are reputable people e who do stats for a living math is glorious |
No one is is preventing people from voting but republicans that is a fact Hundreds of bogus lawsuits daily filed. If Trump is winning bigly why the lawsuits? Why the lies? Republicans just lost another case this morning in GA a Republican judge dismissed. Trump is losing we know this because Stephen Miller is panicking Polls are Russians pure and simple MAGA is the part of Putin that is a fact |
I am going off mainstream polls reported by CNN. They are showing Trump up by more than a point in AZ, NC, and GA. Harris is up by less than a point in WI, MI, and PA. So it seems he is more secure in the swing states that are leaning towards him than in the swing states that are leaning towards her. |
