| I was in London twice over the last year and no one will care. It is very diverse and eclectic. Also, it’s a busy place; no one has time to think about your purse. |
| If you like it, wear it! Life is short. |
| Keep the bag and lose the rude not-friend. Seriously. |
Hard agree. |
|
If you like it, rock it.
Tell your friend that cheap is the new thing. |

I"d wear the bag.
It has a shoulder strap which is better for security. It is not supersized which is better for walking around. It is bright and cheery. I'd use it if you go from March thru Oct 30. If you go Nov 1 - Feb I'd take an earth tone/black purse. London is gray in the winter and I think earth tone/black would be better in the dead of winter. |

| I would just take the bag I like. Nobody in London cares what I look like or will ever remember me. |

Exactly this. What kind of friend thinks or says this kind of thing. The bag is cute. Your friend isn’t. And will she carry a channel or Burkin bag with her? |
| Wear what you like! What kind of upper crust British cosplay is your friend planning? I wouldn’t keep a friend for long if they told me things like told me I look cheap. Not because I do or don’t, but because that is a level of unnecessary judgment I don’t need in my life. |
| take a trader joes branded boat and tote without telling her an pull it out so that you really blend in (they are super statusy over there right now) she'll be so pissed off when the model types and you will have the same (grocery store!) bag! especially in the nottinghill, borough market, Richmond, kew areas. londoners tend to LOVE bright colors b/c its grey and gloomy. its the french who prefer neutrals. |
Why does your friend care what other people — strangers, natch — think? |

| Omg that bag is tragic. However London fashion is pretty tragic so I'd say you would fot right in. |
