Based on my experience both halves of the couple will look bad. After a certain point, most people just look like old people.

DP. IME, they are trade-ins. It’s kind of odd because my kids go to Catholic school.

My schlubby husband is an awesome human and everyone who knows us knows this. I may look ”better” but I’m the one who won the marital lottery. Couldn’t wish for a better person to be a dad to our kids or share my life with.

My husband was 100% schlubby when I met him. He had a terrible haircut and wore awful clothing. He also was under employed. He was a project. He's H.O.T now and has a great job. People change.

Dont see a lot of this and dont see the above claim.

Passive males waiting on females to tell them what to do come in every shape and size.

Type A women marry all types - passive, proactive, type a, beta as well.

I certainly wish I married a Type A is ALL aspects of life not just ego, self image and office work.

Agree that they are trade ins. Not unusual for dad to have a kid(s) with the first wife who is in college and then have a baby or toddler with the second wife.
