Shrinkflation in Halloween candy is insane

PSA but hard candy is cheaper, and much fewer calories also since it lasts longer per serving, and one doesn't eat as much of it as the soft candies like chocolate.

Honestly that’s fine. Kids get so much candy that most of it is wasted. Every house gives out handfuls. When I was a kid you got 1-2 pieces.

Counter PSA: hard candy that you suck on for a while is much worse for your teeth. Dentists hate those (and LaffyTaffy, Airheads, etc.). Better to eat some chocolate.

Yes and there are fewer pieces in the bulk bags and the bags are more expensive. TOT is going to be cost prohibitive for a lot of families moving forward, it’s ridiculous.
