Are they from Spain? In which case, daytime wedding means cocktail length dress (dowsn’t cover ankles, not slinky) or a jumpsuit in a nice fabric (but yes no black, metralics/sparkley), get it tailored, your handbag should be small and coordinate/match your shoes and dress.

the overseas guests will prob wear hats/fascinators—but absolutely do not bother with head gear if you don’t usually wear a hat bc it will look so weird and wrong on the avg American. Consider getting a blowout.

Lots of dancing/partying (daytime weddings in spain can go for like 12 hours although in USA. Venue probably has shorter window.) bring more comfortable flats or cool flat boots to wear just in case). Everyone will be dressed really sharp so don’t worry, you will not be best dressed, but you will be far from worst dressed with these tips.

Also the only acceptable wedding gift is money, you can bring cash (someone will be collecting it) or they may provide bank acct info for deposits or venmo etc. You want to pay the amt that they probably spent per guest at wedding. so like…250 for a couple?
