I was reading on ESPN that this was the 6th biggest upset in the SEC only over the last 20ish years. App State beating Michigan was a much bigger upset. NIU beating ND just a few weeks ago was a bigger upset. It’s clear you don’t follow college football. |
| Applications will be up at Vanderbilt |
What an exaggeration. Bama was favored by 22.5 points. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Stanford_v...tering%20the%20game. USC vs Stanford in 2007 is the greatest upset. USC was favored by over 40 points. |
| As for helping apps, when Vandy finishes sub 50% win rate again. This will be forgotten. |
| Everyone but Bama fans are happy tonight. That’s good enough for me. |
| After nick saban left last year, bama's glory days might be behind it |
It’s definitely up there. |
Sports teams success can be beneficial for all areas of a school. It’s a great single day win, and an important step in building their football program, And hey, school spirit is a nice thing! |
That's every school with a sports team |
read the OP post hoss - have no idea who NIU is, but guarantee they ain’t a T20. This NIU banter is hilarious |
Alabama is loaded with 4 and 5 star players. Their roster is way better than Michigan and ND was when both teams got upset. Alabama, like Ohio State and Georgia, have had for years the top talent in all of college football. They should never lose to an inferior opponent. |
Oh sorry. You don't watch college football. Got it. Go T20 team. 🤣 |
| Every team gets lucky now and again Vandy will be mediocre again next week. |

The ACC is the only legitimate conference that has great academics and athletics. Ivy athletics outside of Hockey, fencing, and other obscure sports is weak. ACC:
