for ED or RD? |
Ugh. WashU is awful awful from a student life perspective. Blech. |
PP has a rather high opinion of themselves and not very accurate. They are not to be taken seriously and should stick to topics they know something about. |
Why yes, but all the other Ivies except Columbia are more desirable. |
Sorry you didn't get a bid. |
NP- What an absolute classless comment. If you make comments like this in real life, I can't imagine you have any serious friends (or teeth) left. |
|
What a strange response. Cornell and Columbia are the least popular Ivies. I don’t think this is even debatable. |
How is BC more popular than Emory and WashU? BC and Emory both get 35k apps and WashU getting 33k. But BC is a bigger school. |
Boston College is good but not like the others good. |
Yawn |
|
Rank these schools in order of student social life/fun/balance?
Vanderbilt Northwestern Stanford Duke Cornell Penn BC Wake Rice Emory WashU Michigan USC |
Michigan Duke USC Wake BC Vanderbilt Stanford Cornell Northwestern Penn Rice Emory WashU |

an outgoing kid will have fun at any of those places. a nerd will find a home at any one of them too. So will a jock or an activist or a bro or a drama kid.

Ugh. Lists. I do like them. You're missing the academic side, so it's kind of pointless. Social life/fun/balance = Arizona. But if you were to include a great education and a good social vibe for most students and some fun sporty things, and understanding that you will always find a school that is better in one or the other, it'd be this: Notre Dame Michigan Vanderbilt Duke Northwestern USC Stanford Space Rice Wake Emory WashU Big space Penn, Cornell Of course Stanford is the most highly ranked school. But it's absolute garbage when it comes to "balance" and quality of life. 18 year olds make their choices. There's a lot of space these days |
