Can someone provide an updated list of Northern VA Girls ECNL and GA Clubs?

We’re moving to VA and it’s so confusing which clubs are in ECNL or GA especially with the various partnerships and partnership names, etc. Makes matters worse, some clubs are ECNL RL but not ECNL??

Thank you very much!

Putting locations so you can take a look at where you're going to live. Commute to practice locations will vary wildly depending where you end up.

ECNL
NVA (Loudoun County)
VDA (Prince William/Haymarket)
Fairfax Union (Mclean)
Arlington (Arlington)
Bethesda (Bethesda)

GA
The St James FCV (TSJ) (Loudoun)
Virginia Revolution (Loudoun)
SYC (Springfield)

If you know if where you'll be in the area it will narrow that list down to 2-3. Positives and negatives to all. What age(s) are you looking for?

NVA = Loudoun Soccer and Virginia Valor
FVU = McLean Youth Soccer, Vienna and Fairfax Brave
VDA = VSA and PWSI

NVA, FVU and VDA are the ECNL teams and their member clubs, for the most part, are the RL teams

Correction: FVU = BRYC, Vienna, & McLean

Arlington is not a partnership. Much easier to manage. Less politics.

LMAO that you think Arlington has less politics.

Less politics than dealing with 3 completely different clubs? Yes.

You just helped this pp take your dd spot. Lol. Top teams are difficult to get on. If you don't know which clubs are the top ones, your dd is probably not good enough to play on them. The good club players know which teams are tops because they see them at the tournaments.

Unless you have a 12 year old and not older kids and just getting started so you come on here and ask. The audacity!!!?

If you don't want to play with better players why bother playing

Maybe because it's a kids activity and it's supposed to be fun? Believe it or not, not everyone is trying to go pro or play for national teams.

When you say politics, what do you mean? I am not sure I follow what people are talking about. Where and how do you see it?

That's what rec soccer is for.

There is a huge gap between ECNL and Rec which is actually where the majority of kids play. Kids who like playing more than one day a week, enjoy playing in tournaments, team bonding, competition, paid coaches who don’t cancel all the time. Clearly there is a huge demand for this mid tier offering.
