Northern VA Girls ECNL and GA Clubs

Anonymous
Dear DCUM,

Can someone provide an updated list of Northern VA Girls ECNL and GA Clubs?

We’re moving to VA and it’s so confusing which clubs are in ECNL or GA especially with the various partnerships and partnership names, etc. Makes matters worse, some clubs are ECNL RL but not ECNL??

Thank you very much!

Use the google and look at the conferences on the league websites.

What year(s) you are shopping for is relative to anyone being able to give you a genuine response or any help for that matter (ex. see the one sentence responses you have already gotten. There are lots of clubs to choose from what are you looking for?

Click a team name and it will give you their address - age group doesn't matter because every club has every ECNL age group.

I'll give it to you that GA is not as easy as ECNL.

TSJFC - Springfield home, but GA practices throughout Loudoun County (wouldn't recommend)
SYC - Springfield, VA
VA Revolution - Leesburg, VA
Coppermine, Baltimore Celtic, Baltimore Armour - you guessed it are all in the greater Baltimore area.
Skyline = Charlotteville, VA

I need to add that we’re moving into the McLean area.

Putting locations so you can take a look at where you're going to live. Commute to practice locations will vary wildly depending where you end up.

ECNL
NVA (Loudoun County)
VDA (Prince William/Haymarket)
Fairfax Union (Mclean)
Arlington (Arlington)
Bethesda (Bethesda)

GA
The St James FCV (TSJ) (Loudoun)
Virginia Revolution (Loudoun)
SYC (Springfield)

If you know if where you'll be in the area it will narrow that list down to 2-3. Positives and negatives to all. What age(s) are you looking for?

For GA and ECNL NoVA is in the Mid-Atlantic

It isn’t that confusing.

Also, each league website has a club list and a club map.

The closest option would be FVU (ECNL), FVU has an ECNL team and McLean (part of the union) has an RL team.

You're not going to want to commute to Loudoun County or Bethesda to practice, you'll be dealing with work traffic every night (some people do it, so it is manageable - might even be able to get into a carpool). Arlington (ECNL) and SYC (GA) would be good 2nd and 3rd options.

NVA = Loudoun Soccer and Virginia Valor
FVU = McLean Youth Soccer, Vienna and Fairfax Brave
VDA = VSA and PWSI

NVA, FVU and VDA are the ECNL teams and their member clubs, for the most part, are the RL teams
