Changing shoes at a wedding, how to carry?

Have you seen these pumps with interchangeable heels?
A coworker has a pair and loves them.

It's a book idea but I can't imagine shoes that try to be both short and tall do a good job in either of those positions. The ones I looked at had no arch support either.

Isn't this what Tieks are made for? I always folded up some ballet flats in my clutch when I went to a lot of weddings in my 20s and early 30s. Is that no longer a thing?

These are terrible. From the company name to the cheap looking shoe bases. If you're toting around a bag of used heel parts anyway, just bring actual shoes.

Changing shoes is very tacky. It's far better to pick a heel height you can comfortably wear all evening. No one wants nor needs to see your icky shoe bag at a dining table.

I've been to countless weddings in Europe and the US and have to say I've never seen anyone do a shoe/outfit change except for the bride and groom.

Sounds like a *you* issue. No one is paying attention to a bag (that happens to have shoes in it) that's under a table.

I change shoes because the ones I wear to walk from the car into the venue are not the ones I dance in. My dancing shoes have nice suede bottoms and I'm not ruining them by walking on asphalt and concrete.

No one is looking at you long enough to notice your change of shoes or a bag you stashed out of the way. No one advised her to put her shoe bag on the table.
