Grow up and use adult language. |
| Size 14 is not a plus size except in some minds. Those minds have issues of their own. |
What would you mumble under your breath? |
| There are a lot of awful people out there OP. |
| I have written a couple of op eds that have run in national papers, done some tv and radio interviews and I have had strangers look up my picture online so they could comment on an article or email me to let me know that I am fat. Because apparently that invalidates all of your credible thoughts and arguments. Because if you are fat you are a no one and a nothing and you should know better than to have ideas. |
| That's a big fat troll |
| People are terrible. It must make them feel better about themselves. I might be fat, but at least I'm not an a-hole. |
+1 I can’t even imagine GAF. |
That’s all you got today? Regardless, I’m sorry you’re in attack mode; it must feel pretty crappy. |
| Many years ago, probably over 10 years now, I walked into a Lululemon looking for shorts to wear to hot yoga (back then, still Bikram, lol). I was a size 14 or so. The salesperson approached me and said in the nastiest voice imaginable "These are workout clothes." After I said "Yes, I know," she said "Do you work out?" -- again, with horrible tone. I left. I wish I could go back in time and lay into her. Y'all should have seen the way she looked at me. Mean as could be. Instead of responding I felt full of shame over my weight and left. |
Please.

You’re a psycho. |
| Size 14 usually IS partially in the regular sizes AND in the plus sizes. So there's no world in which she was possibly trying to be helpful. Some people are just mean. Ignore her. Or sit on her, whichever. |
|
That is totally rude and uncalled for.
May I suggest that if someone says similar to you another time, you reply with "watch out, I might knock you over and then roll on top of you" |
|
Any chance she thought she was being helpful? I’m not saying she wasn’t rude, but maybe she thought she was guiding you to the right section.
