It never fails to amaze me how judgmental people are here. I guess it's easy to cast stones when a person can't afford something for themselves.

Therefore, people absolutely must all like something and everything. It is compulsary or else one is judgmental. More so if it’s beyond that one can afford. Got it.

WTF is "fake glass"?

I don't agree that the stones and wood are fake.

How often does the exterior wood need to be resealed seems like a maintenance headache but looks nice. There is a reason we have moved on from old style building techniques because of improvements in building materials but I guess if you want it to look old you use outdated materials?

There was some stained glass window thing in one of the shots.
If you think that stone in the house is functional and not just stone stickers, you should probably have your eyes checked.

It's lovely but much too big. Nobody needs such a huge house. Would not be my dream home.

Lesson of the day: can’t afford it; required to love it.

LOL, I'm pretty sure the "improvements" you are thinking of are the things that simply make building cheaper, not better. There are some things that are better, but those are generally not visible.

The irony in you calling others judgmental.

The cat jumping down from the counter -- A+++ photographer!!

I like parts of it. Other parts, meh. Don't love the wallpaper in a number of places (room with flamingo). The stained glass windows are beautiful.

Thought I was going to be blown away. It’s actually kind of bad.

Generic rich person house. How many times did they have to toss the cat off of the counter to get the action shot

+1 the cat jumping is the only thing that made me interested.

Dream home? I don’t think so.

The exposed sprinkler heads popping through the beams would drive me crazy. The house might look nice at first pass but the use of materials, form and function look sloppy and amateurish for what I'm sure cost a LOT of money

I looked carefully at each pic and watched the video, and I don't see any sprinklers in the beams. Where do you see this?
