DD is 5.5 and weighs 33-34 lbs and is 75%-80% for height. She has been on this curve her entire life. She's a great eater but she is also pretty active.

DD is 6 in Dec and weighs close to 50 pounds. And wow on the 50 pound 3 year old, my other one is nearly 3 and weighs right around 30, and that seems...solid. But then again, he's not particularly tall.

I have the lightest kids around. Middle child hadn't even hit 30 by age 5. Oldest is 11 and weighs 52. Both are at the 3rd percentile for weight and have been there their entire lives.

36 lb 45 in boy and will be 6 in 6 weeks - just a skinny kid - not worried at all.

48 lbs at 48". Has always been above 99th percentile in height and around 90th for weight. On the height-weight chart, she's right at 50%.

Go to the CDC and look at the growth charts. There is one that has height on one axis and weight on the other. I would say that chart is more illuminating than the weight of strangers' kids. It is also important to track your child's height and weight over time. If they stray from their normal curve, you'll want to find out why. In other words, a kid who has always been 75th percentile height and 50th percentile weight, should be checked out if one or both of those change significantly.

My DD is probably 42/43 pounds, but only four. She is VERY tall though. People think she looks like she should be starting kindergarten, but since she has a September birthday that is still 2 years away. It really stresses me out, I almost want to move to a state that has a 12/31 cut off because of it. She is already taller than her friends and now she will be a year older than many kids in her class.
