Michelle would have been such a better candidate

I get the Michelle love and share it. But she has never been at all interested in running for office and only very reluctantly agreed to having her husband do so. She does not have the desire or the credentials to be a candidate. For goodness sake', leave her alone.

And as for her almost ruining the campaign, please. There were a few controversial moments but she was overwhelmingly an asset to the campaign.

You go first with Michelle. Oh, and then, Barack before he was elected President.

While it's true that she actually doesn't want to be president, it's also true that as unqualified as she may appear to be she is about 100 times more qualified than the current Republican candidate has demonstrated himself to be.

I keep getting lured into that trap as well, in a normal world he'd be disqualified from running and has no meaningful qualifications to stack against the crimes, much less be the candidate.

Michelle actually does have a very important accomplishment. Added sugar on nutrition labels.

To diabetics and pre diabetics, this was a game changer so I’ll always remember Michelle for that. I’d even say low carb diet trends would be impossible if the labels weren’t updated

Charisma does not make a politician. Experience and interest does. And yes, it really helps to have charisma. But why do we want celebrities as politicians? Life is not one big Instagram post people.

Agree totally.

The sad thing is that voting for POTUS is not so far off from voting for class president in high school for many people.

Good speech writer and can read the teleprompter. Good achievements.

I find her very resentful of the country, of Princeton, of Barack, of politics.

She seems like a great friend to have and she’d probably remember every birthday and buy your kids thoughtful and nice gifts but she does seem like a constant complainer.

Why complain about wealthy people now when she’s wealthy? Why complain about generational wealth when Malia and Sasha won’t have to work or get rejected from any job any day of their life due to their last name? NBC has a day time gig with their name on it just like for Jenna Bush

You do realize it's OK to care about things that affect people other than yourself, don't you?

I was thinking to myself just how any number of high pedigree world leaders without much charisma would struggle in a campaign here because of what we prioritize when considering Presidential nominees.

Her delivery was excellent. I can say that even though I recoiled at someone who owns several $20 million houses speaking as though she was working at a drudge job.

She made a good speech and has several times. Biden makes crappy speeches but he has been a great president.

“Great”? Crushing inflation, first land war in Europe since WW2, and a dangerously open southern border. That’s his legacy. Anyone would be better than Trump, but let’s not get carried away…
