She was amazing last night. She was so more presidential than Kamala. She’s much smarter, composed and sharper. Plus. We’d have Barack as a bonus in the White House.
|
|
What practical executive or legislative experience does she have that you can point to?
She made a good speech and has several times. Biden makes crappy speeches but he has been a great president. |
No need to compare, Michelle is not interested in running. But nice try. |
|
Michelle Obama has just finished lecturing America about evil, rich white people at the DNC. It's back to her $20 million dollar mansion in the lily-white Hamptons.
The presidency is beneath her. |
|
Michelle almost ruined her husbands campaign in 08. How soon people forget.
I find her very resentful of the country, of Princeton, of Barack, of politics. She seems like a great friend to have and she’d probably remember every birthday and buy your kids thoughtful and nice gifts but she does seem like a constant complainer. Why complain about wealthy people now when she’s wealthy? Why complain about generational wealth when Malia and Sasha won’t have to work or get rejected from any job any day of their life due to their last name? NBC has a day time gig with their name on it just like for Jenna Bush |
Exactly. People are so superficial in their assessments. She's a great figurehead, not a policy wonk. |
| God people, leave Michelle alone. She does not want to be President and she’s not qualified. |
|
She'd be a great candidate! I think what we've learned over the last month is that it turns out we have a DEEP bench of great people over on our side. We are rich in talent, these days.
Harris, it turns out, is also a great candidate! Made all the stronger with Walz by her side. |
If you’re going to disparage her, at least get your facts straight. It’s Martha’s Vineyard not the Hamptons and there are black homeowners in both. And she only lectured us about one evil rich white guy. |
| Other than being first lady, she's never held a significant public office. I think she's a great public speaker and person but Harris is much more qualified. |
| She gave a great speech but doesn’t have nearly the same resume as Kamala. Kamala is much more qualified (and much more qualified than Obama was before he ran!) |
Although thank you for demonstrating another installment of no matter who the woman is, it should be someone else. |
| Agree that she is amazing, a smart lady, she seems like a good person. I am a huge fan. But I am truly baffled at America’s attraction to the cult of personality. Charisma does not make a politician. Experience and interest does. And yes, it really helps to have charisma. But why do we want celebrities as politicians? Life is not one big Instagram post people. |
What do you expect Kamala to do that Joe hasn’t already done? What exactly will she change? |
I don't understand your point. I am actually pleased with what Biden has accomplished, especially given the hole he was given at the outset of his administration. If Harris continues this, but with relative youth on her side, I have no problem with this. |
