A good essay. She had the stats. But whatever she wrote got the admissions readers on her side. The essay is where it's at. I find it baffling how so many parents think they can steamroll over readers at top schools. They seem to forget that at schools with less than 5 percent admissions rates, the admissions readers do need to actually like and find the applicant interesting to even get to the table where things are decided. |
