Which of these got my DD into Princeton?

The essays are kinda funny for someone applying to a Chemistry program. So it definitely wasn't the essays.

The SAT score is good and so are the grades. But these alone wouldn't get her admission into a Chem program, so my guess is there is something else we aren't being told.

My guess is DD is Black or Latina.

No leadership ECs? No work experience? No papers? No awards? There are kids with 3-5 NGOs getting rejected.

average for HYP is not average generally, which what PP was referring to. someone at HYP has to have average stats for HYP.

lf you follow the conversation properly you will see that we were talking about her grades being average for Princeton. Why would we talk about average generally in a conversation about Princeton???
