Grow up

Take your own advice, perhaps?

I am an adult who understands how elections work in this country and I’m not throwing a temper tantrum by staying home.

Put on your big girl panties and vote like an adult.

The intellectual rigor has left with them

It’s too Trumpy here now. It’s not worth engaging with the trolls who aren’t posting in good faith.

Funny, I was thinking the opposite.

Guess you haven’t been here long. It was much better before the MAGA troll infestation.

You mean DCUM is only for those who follow and totally agree with Dem and far left policies like sheep? I am an Anti-Trump moderate but right leaning voter. And can honestly say it's the LWNJs that have soured my view of DCUM. Automatic foul language used for simply posting my support for certain policies.

I guess it was naive of me to think that any GOP voter would bother to read the "Trump's rambling speech today" thread.

It would be nice, wouldn’t it? Biden still never rambled like Trump does.

DC probably voted democrats >90% of the population.

I can excuse Trump’s racism, sexism, economic illiteracy, incompetence at handling COVID, knucklehead approach to diplomacy, and his lust toward his daughter, but I drew the line when he was convicted for his hush money payments case. I’m a Kamala mama now

No, the lazy right wing trolls just make me more entrenched to vote democratic. Not sure why they are here arguing knowing the overwhelming liberal bend of the local population. I just skip their posts nowadays.

Finding out Kamala’s plan for price gouging and her stance on immigration (which I found out here because I’m not a daily reader of the news) have me voting for a third party (don’t care for Trump). Doesn’t matter in Maryland anyway - it’s mostly Blue No Matter Who around here.

Votes? No. Stances on certain issues? Yes.

Most people in the DC area are Ds. That doesn't stop the RWNJ trolls from infesting the forums.

I'm turned off by those who keep talking about something so basrless and meaningless for an election, as if it were true.

This isn't a difficult choice for me, but I like some of the articles other posters link to.

I am also amused by the people who claim that the Democrats have a "far left" agenda. Even the right wings of most industrialized countries support social safety nets that Republicans and a lot of Democrats think are too expensive.

Why do you consider comments with views different from yours as posted by trolls?

Independent moderate voter here. Not yet. The problem with DCUM is separating fact from fiction. There is a ton of bias especially toward the left on DCUM so it’s difficult to get a clear picture of the candidates and their policies. I’m still in disbelief that these two candidates are the best our country has to offer. It’s sad.
