Anyone else have absurdly fat arms in comparison to body?

Maybe we could trade parts and we could both look normal! I'd still be fat, but at least I'd be proportionate!

+1 I will trade as well!

I mean, come on, you are the proof that we all have pretty similar bones.

Are you referring to the loose skin due to weight loss?

It’s got to be your body shape. I’m the opposite. Thin toned arms, zero jiggle. Small chest, very little belly fat. But my thighs and hips have a lot of meat and some cellulite to thighs.

there's nothing you can do for this problem except:

cover them
live with them
brachioplasty (which then leaves a scar)

In my case, I'm having surgery. I'm 52 and tired of covering but will never learn to love the part of myself I hate most.

I'm considering surgery as well. I'm the same: reasonably in shape but with these dingle-dangle bat wings. Has anyone had a mini arm lift, in which the scar extends from the underarm to halfway down the upper arm?

TRICEPS.

It’s genetic. All the women in my family have it too. Our multi-generational term for it is “jingle jangle.”

I feel that if I wanted to break up my marriage, I'd forward a link of this thread to my wife.

Hahahaha. Yeah, don’t do that.

Here too. Small waist -- size 24 jeans with pretty flat stomach. But wow ... my inner thighs are jiggly and my bat wings are insanely flappy!

I went in for a lipo consult and they actually warned against it - said my body would just redistribute fat to my arms and I'd have to redo the lipo in a few years to maintain it. Like others above, I just focus on finding clothes that hide it (3/4 or elbow-length tops).

This is my fear. Every woman on my mom’s side has the same giant arm thing going on. It is completely disproportionate and I HATE it. I just want to be able to wear a sleeveless top.

My arms aren’t “fat,” but they are definitely sizable. Even in toddler and other little kid photos, I’m like a rugby player vs my siblings with their little stick arms. Even my forearms are large. It’s just a bit weird looking. But: I’m basically a female version of my Dad. He could pretty much just think the word “exercise” and he’d put on muscle.

No, but I have a weirdly flat ass. No matter my size. Weight goes everywhere except my ass. No amount of lunges, squats or glute machines make any difference. They all help my legs, but my ass stays completely flat.

Me too. I am 40 lbs overweight but have a seriously flat butt. It's actually annoying because anything with elastic rides up - underwear, bathing suits, the linings of athletic shorts. It's the one area of my body I'd like to be a little rounder!
