Anyone else have absurdly fat arms in comparison to body?

What do I do?
The entire rest of my body as a result of (somewhat) consistent very healthy eating/ very consistent exercise etc etc is pretty good shape and toned and skinny (for a 46 yo). But my arms are like a little wing. YUCK. I HATE IT.
Is this forever? I dont want a wing. help.

I feel I have underplayed the situation with my arms. Idk if I would use the word 'fat'. But they are not great. 'little wing' feels too demure.

Does your mom look proportionally similar? This sounds like your genetic shape and not a failing of dieting/exercise

I am the opposite! I have a gigantic belly, bottom, thighs, chest. I wear size 2X. And I have these dainty little arms and ankles.

Maybe we could trade parts and we could both look normal! I'd still be fat, but at least I'd be proportionate!

Yes! I am unarguably thin, but I've always had flabby arms that are bigger in relation to everything else. I do strength training regularly and yoga but I've come to terms with it just being me.

I spend more time trying to find flattering cuts for tops.

Seed oils, seriously. Cut them out of your diet entirely and you will eventually see improvement. Seed oils are in almost everything that is processed in the grocery store and in most restaurants so this is not easy.

Yes my whole life. All the thin women in my family too. We all have zero fat on our hips and thighs, go figure. I wear 3/4 sleeves all summer.

Not suggesting you do this but unknowns woman who got liposuction on her arms. They look great now. Not sure what’s involved price or recovery wise but surgery or lipo could be an option.

Seed oils determine the distribution of fat on a body? Would love to see that study! 🙄

Waiting for the cortisol poster to chime in too.

Ugh, this is me. It's genetic - my mom has exactly the same figure and flabby arms. I went in for a lipo consult and they actually warned against it - said my body would just redistribute fat to my arms and I'd have to redo the lipo in a few years to maintain it. Like others above, I just focus on finding clothes that hide it (3/4 or elbow-length tops).

it really saddens me. I feel like the hulk. though I suppose if i lost enough weight they would eventually reflect right?

Ugh me too!! Tiny all over, age 56, crazy bat wings for over 10 years. It was never great, but it's now worse. I only wear 3/4 sleeves, even at my daughter's wedding. I hate it.

I'd get lipo, but I'm at risk for lymphedema (past cancer), so I can't do it.

Sorry. No helpful advice!
