Are you setting up the new reddit accounts with the same email address?
F reddit anyway the crap they do its not a reliable place on the internet anyway. |
| You should have thought of that when you posted your inflammatory post. |
|
Sounds like you were rightfully banned, I'm glad to hear there are consequences stemming from saying stupid stuff.
It's actually pretty heartwarming! |
| I also got banned from a site (not Reddit) for writing something sarcastic about Trump and it was a permanent ban. So I feel you, OP. I think all sites should do a temporary ban first and then a permanent ban on a second violation. This is what Jeff does on DCUM. |
Browser fingerprinting is the answer. Why don't you try looking it up. Your browser tells website enough to know exactly who you are. You can see some of what makes a browser fingerprint at https://amiunique.org/fingerprint |

So OP has been banned from Reddit multiple times and is asking how to get around it.
Pass. |
And I thought republicans billed themselves as the party of personal responsibility.
|
+1 srsly, play stupid games and win stupid prizes. |
| You need to take personal responsibility for this and pull yourself up by your bootstraps OP. I'm sure there is an IT person you can pay to advise you, if you think this is important. |
Or... don't post on reddit? If that's the kind of stuff you're posting it doesn't really seem like they'll miss you or that you really need to spend much time doing it. You can still read it, right? |
| Have you tried taking your phone off your home wifi and using the cell providers wifi and trying to post from there using a new email address? That should work. But yea reddit is very evil if you don't have to use them then don't. |
Go here: https://coveryourtracks.eff.org/ My results:
So, yeah, a certain Jeff could easily identify my specific device. I shouldn't use Firefox. |
| Just accept your fate. |
| Reddit is for losers. |
| So you actually didn't explain exactly what you did - only part of it. If you get banned from a subreddit then you are permanently banned from that subreddit. You, not your account. If you create a new account to continue to post on it, all your accounts are banned and you are banned from Reddit completely. Reddit isn't 100% perfect at this. I'm sure if you got a new phone, a new email address, and made a new account using all new stuff that you'd be okay but if you're getting banned for being a jerk, it might be time for some self-reflection. |
