What have you completely changed your mind about?

Peanut allergies. It’s fine, I’m sending my kid with a pb&j.

I changed my mind about people smoking a little weed here and there. I don't, but I used to be very black and white on if people used. Now that I know more about the medicinal uses and know a lot of people who smoke a very small amount infrequently, I don't think it's a bad thing.

I used to think all Christians were super jesus freaks basically, but having gotten to know more and more over my adult years I've seen what great people some are, and if believing in stuff I don't believe in helps them be such great people, it can't be all bad.

I like walnuts now.

Anonymous wrote:Christianity. Grew up atheist/agnostic and became Catholic. With that came a chance in almost all my political stances and outlook in general.

I also used to think everyone should have kids, for their own happiness and growth. Now I am not so sure. I think some people truly should not have kids and it is wise for them to realize it before having kids. And that they can be happy without kids.

I should not (and don't) have kids. It would not be fair to put the responsibility of my happiness and/or growth on a child.

Student loan forgiveness. Used to be against and then learned how predatory they are and how people who have typically made payments in excess of the original principle often owe tens of thousands. Also, wiping that debt is good for the economy.

Wooden toys. I used to shun “plastic,” then I got hit in the head by a wooden toy…

Sex.

A lot less vanilla and more insatiable.

Democrats. I’ve moved so far left of them they feel conservative to me now.

The 50% floor grading policy in schools. It’s destroyed the kids and fed the chronic absenteeism issue. I supported it at first but it’s been a disaster.

Cats! Always thought I didn’t like them and then I got one and I’m obsessed, they’re the best.

How is this even possible?

Ummm what? I definitely don’t support republicans. I just no longer identify with being Democrat. They are not progressive.

Abortion. Was raised catholic, but now I see the light.

Mental illness. I used to think of it as just people making excuses, trying to get special treatment or just not being resilient. I understand it's more than that now.

PPs are sh!tting on you, but I agree. Mine is different, because I'm from Canada, but US democrats are Canadian moderates (at best). I definitely identify as further left.
