Side dishes to serve with grilled flank steak

We like what we call camping potatoes.

Potatoes sliced into thin rounds, with bacon and sliced onions. They're called "camping" because you can cook them in a foil packet if you're camping, or on the grill, but also easy to just do on the stovetop (minus the foil packet) at home.

Fresh sweet corn; you can do on-the-cob, but I'd probably cut it off and mix it up with a very small amount of sauteed onion and red bell pepper and melted butter and salt and pepper. There was an avocado and cucumber salad on the NYT site recently that would be great too.
