The report doesn't give details but says the injuries on the child were very specific and deliberately inflicted.
This woman was wicked, and cloaked it under the mask of perfection that everyone - including the snobs on DCUM - loves. I don't think it's schizophrenia. It's psychopathy. |
| It looks very damning for her. But, it’s not unbelievable to think that there might be more to the story here, especially given how freaking bizarre this story is. |
Did the sitter call them to tell them he was “hurt”? |
| Who knows how long they were in her care and what condition they were in when they were given to her. |
| POS! Wow!! |
Yeah. I remember a dateline where someone was wrongly accused of inflicting “shaken baby syndrome”. Drs had said results were indicative of inflicted- it was a long drawn out thing and then second kid they later had died too. It was some genetic thing. The babysitter’s life was ruined but later vindicated. This story is do strange I think there has to be more to it. |
| Ironically, another crazy psych major. And yet at every problem, dcum suggests OP to seek therapy. Many therapists are good, but many are nutjobs. |
| Supposedly, the parents took one infant to hospital because he had been injured by sitter. So why did they leave her with other infant while they went to hospital. If I thought sitter had injured my child then I sure as hell wouldn't leave her alone with other child. Something very fishy going on and I bet in the end it comes out that it was one of the parents. |
They didn’t think it was her fault. They trusted her. I can see how it wouldn’t occur to me, a non violent person, that my friend whom I trusted, would cut off my kids genitalia. Add the hysteria of the moment and it makes sense. |
Nope. Both parents were out of the house when the second newborn “somehow” flipped out of their bouncy seat causing fatal injuries. |
+1 It seems so out there that a 30 y/o who has never shown any sign of violence would suddenly murder a newborn that I’m willing to suspend judgment until all the facts are presented. If she did in fact do this, I hope she rots forever. But sometimes when the dust settles there is more to the story than first reported. |
Omg of course she was reading QAnon. Makes me think of that dad who drove to Mexico and speared his two little kids. It breaks me that this type of thing happens to vulnerable children. They can’t protect themselves. |
If this is even remotely true it feels like she may have had it on a table/counter too close to the edge an the baby wiggled/moved and off he went. Poor thing. |
That would be quite the coincidence since the other child was at the ER with wounds at the time. And the doctors who examined him said the injuries were too severe for that to make sense. All we can do is speculate but “psychotic break” is all that I can come up with so far. |
People with schizophrenia and psychotic breaks can still be very articulate and describe elaborate scenarios. They just include delusional thinking and a detachment from reality. Psychosis can present very differently in different people. Some might be incoherent and others can be very coherent. |
