Then you should pony up and pay for the journalists work. |
I subscribe to the NYT and WaPo (and I do gift articles from them), I think that's enough. If the WSJ allows atricle gifting, I think it's common courtesy to do that if sharing a link. I suspect WSJ doesn't do that, however. |
One decent policy does not make his great or as bad. He's still terrible. Even a clock strikes 12 twice in a day. |
I’m not sure what’s going on with WSJ because they used to allow unlimited gifting. They do offer some super cheap deals on subscriptions though. Also you probably do not need NYT and WaPo. I’d pick one of those and then subscribe to WSJ to get the full spectrum. |
Yeah, you're probably right. But I'm from NY and live in the DC area, so I like to keep up with both regions. Overall, I'd say the NYT is the better option. |
He’s right far more often than not and seems to learn from his missteps, which are largely errors caused by lack of nuance. A lot of why I like him is not that he’s not trying to reinvent the wheel. But he has stopped a lot of really dumb stuff from happening, which seems to be about the best we can hope for right now in government. |
Agree NYT is the better option. And I’m in DC too. |
Edit: I like him because he’s NOT trying to reinvent the wheel. |
Thank you Governor Youngkin. I am sure the Dems will try this again. Wish they would just move to CA. |
+100000 Virginia trying to be CALI is the dumbest thing people have tried to mimic lately! SMH. What a joke! |
You can read WSJ for free if you have a DC Library card. You can google where the portal access is. They require you to use your card to sign in. |
Yeah, immigrants, women, descendanta of slaves, people with high school and post high school education... Meanwhile Republicans get their base of power from British colonial boundaries that enable a minority of welfare kings, whose lives are paid for by Federal taxes from Democrat states, to control the Federal government. |
Yep. Completely agree. I especially liked this part: Mr. Youngkin has the public on his side. A December poll found that 57% of Virginians want to repeal the vehicle mandates, compared with 30% who prefer to keep them in place. Ditching the mandates will give consumers a choice of EVs or gas-powered cars, which will help low-income buyers in particular. As for Mr. Newsom, check back in a decade to see where his forced EV march has led the Golden State. |
Ah, our resident LWNJ troll is back. You're the Hogan-basher too, right?
