When in the hell did a 2 liter bottle of soda start costing $3.00+ each?

Biden’s economy SUCKS!

OP I know what you mean and same for 12-packs. I remember buying them for $2.50 each about 5-6 years ago. Now we only buy when they're on sale for $4 each (which is super rare).

We used them 5 years ago for baseball snackbar, and now for softball snackbar, so food-shamer, just stay away.

Looks like everyone attending my family cookout this weekend will have to enjoy lemonade instead.

And why are you buying soda LOL

Least healthy thing.

Oh, dear, and by “been this way for years” , you mean “the last three years”. Right?

Safeway has priced them at $3.00, but "$1.99 if you buy three" for years.

Our family goes through a few bottles a week. Take that DCUM!

Our store used to have loose cans of the store brand for 35 cents (and a quarter if you got them cold in the machine outside). Long gone. I'll buy a 2 liter of root beer every once in awhile and sometimes I'll crave a cold root beer when running errands. 12-oz cans in machines or coolers in c-stores and grocery stores are long gone. It's 16 or 20 ounce or nothing, and in plastic.

This with increased obesity related diseases should be taken as a sign for this nation to stop consuming soda.

Giant’s 12 packs of cans of Coke are now $10.49 when not on one of its frequent sales. And yes I buy it occasionally and I’m not dead yet.

Yep. Clearly Trump’s fault. Somehow. Some way. He’s been running things behind the scenes since 2021.
