I am not a frequent purchaser of sodas so I did not realize how inflated the prices have become.
Looks like everyone attending my family cookout this weekend will have to enjoy lemonade instead.

| Inflation really does surprise you if it’s a product you don’t buy often. I usually stock up at Costco on my antiperspirant (Dove) so I had not bought any for a long time. Was shocked to see it at CVS for $9! So I went with Secret which was only $3. I’m definitely opting for store brands and bargain brands now. |

Seems a 2 liter bottle of lemonade is 3.99. If you are making lemonade lemons are $.79 each plus the cost of sugar. |
